Hello Folks,
All our incoming calls are showing some extra digits on the phone display. Let say I am in Europe and have extension 16065 and the desk next to me has 16290. When I call my neighbor with 8 digits 97716290 to simulate an inbound call from PSTN, the incoming number on his phone shows 94577416065. Do you guys know where those extra digits get added? There's absolutly nothing configured in the CM or the GW to add those digits or I don't seem to be able to find where the transations is taking palce
Thanks,
MK

Hello,
Did you try to do a debugs on the gateway (either q931 or ccapi inout) and check what is the incoming called number that you recieve from PSTN?

Run DNA to find out what number you should be sending out, verify that by running 'debug isdn q931' on the egress gateway and then check what number is received from the Telco on the ingress gateway. If you don't find any issues here, take CUCM traces and post it here alongwith the calling, called party and time of call.
Hope that helps

Nitesh

Thanks for the replies,
Here's the output of the debugs. I can see in the debug the Calling Party Number is 4577416065 but what I see on the phone display is 94577416065. I don't see where those extra digits "945" are getting added to the called party phone display.

My observations from the debug is.. Calling number is being recognized as an international # ->
"Calling Number=4577416065(TON=International, NPI=ISDN, Screening=User, Passed, Presentation=Allowed)"
"Called Number=16290(TON=National, NPI=ISDN), Calling Translated=FALSE"
ANI type of number being set to international.
DNIS type of number being set to national.
it is discarding 9, which is fine. and prefixing 45 (country code for denmark i guess) to ANI.
pstn is sending it you.
I guess its because of TON on calling number. u could change it to National.
