The ATA 186 is supported only as an SCCP device in CUCM. The moment  we try to add an ATA186, it does not give us a choice for the type of  protocol also and directly takes SCCP as the protocol for the device.

The ATA 186 is not supported as a SIP device, but can be registered as one using the 3rd party device type on call manager.

The last  firmware that supported the SIP option on the ATA 186 was 3.2(1).

Did you succeed  download the file from the link shared ?

For me this is the response. Never heard of Cisco maintaining firmwares for EOL product even after 6 years.

Same message showing to me.

I have got this link from another group but didn’t checked. I am agreed with your statement as Cisco not maintaining this after 6 years.

Thanks for notifying this.

No. I did not see any download link.

Which version was this link to?  Was it a SIP version ?

Sadev  shared a Cisco link to download the firmware 3.2.1, but it didn’t work for me .That reply was not for you

I was able to get the release notes up to 3.2.4 and as I mentioned,  on CUCM release notes it has mentioned firmware  ata-3.2.4-sccp . So I assume  3.2.4 was the last firmware released for ata 186.

Ata 3.2.4 sccp firmware can be  downloaded  from below link. I cannot assure that it works, I found this from an old folder. Try it

https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/0M2hseEY8ju9FK8A2HtliVpfQ#ata_03_02_04_sccp_090202_a

I could see some release notes with sip  but  3.2.3 and 3.2.4 found  only sccp release notes. And when I tried to configure  an Ata 186 on my lab CUCM, it was  sccp protocol and there was no SIP option.

Release  notes up to 3.2.3 is available on below link.

https://docstore.mik.ua/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/ata/atarn/index.htm

I would suggest to move to latest ata, instead of 186. Using EOL product in production, is not recommended.

Do you mean this link for the v3.2.1 SIP firmware ?:

ata_03_02_01_sip_050616_a.zip

I remember it was something in 3.x, but not sure which was the last release. This got EOL in 2015.

I can see release not for  3.2.4, And one CUCM 10.X,11.X,12.X,14.X read me file, its mentioned firmware ata-3.2.4-sccp. so 3.2.4 will be the last version.

Relese notes:-

I have no idea About the link you shared.ata_03_02_01_sip_050616_a.zip. you can have a try.

Are you sure the v3.2(1) was the last one that supported SIP ?

Googling for it suggests that it was v3.2(4)....

I came to the Cisco community to find an authoritative answer.

The Table 14 on page 13 suggests that a firmware 3.2(4) for SIP exists:
