Hello. Currently I am choosing Switch 3850 for my system.
Please tell me can I stack 2 devices "3850-48T-S" and cisco "3850-48XS-S" together?
I have read on the forum is possible. But I want to be sure.

Hi @daocongtrung,
Look what I saw in the datasheet of that model:
Table 1. Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series configurations
Model | Total 10/100/1000 or SFP or SFP+ ports | Default AC power supply | Available PoE power | POE budget with 1100W secondary PS | StackWise-480 | StackPower |
WS-C3850-24T | 24 | 350WAC | - |
| Yes | Yes |
WS-C3850-48T | 48 |
| ||||
WS-C3850-24P | 24 PoE+ | 715WAC | 435W | 1535W | ||
WS-C3850-48XS | 48 1/10G SFP+ | 750WAC (front to back) | - |
| No | No |
I hope this information will be useful to you.
Regards

Thanks for your support.
I have read the datasheet again and found that the WS-C3850-24S supports StackWise-480.
So, Can stack Switch 3850-48T-S and WS-C3850-24S right?

As @luis_cordova points out the 48TS-S supports traditional stackwise contentions.
The 48XS-S supports stackwise virutal and can only be paired with another 48XS-S in this configuration.
As a pair the 48TS and 48XS cannot be stacked together.
cheers,
Seb.

Thanks for your support.
I read the datasheet again and found that both the WS-C3850-24S and the WS-C3850-24S switches support StackWise-480. Can I use these 2 models?

Yes, any 3850 listed as supporting stackwise-480 can be physically connected via the stacking ports at the back of the switches.
cheers,
Seb.

Hi Leo.
Thanks for your support.
Yes I know. And I removed 3850-48XS.
I am talking about WS-C3850-24S and WS-C3850-24S. Both support StackWise-480.

Sorry, I made a mistake because of use copy.
I want to talk about two Switch "3850-48T-S" and "WS-C3850-24S".
I want to know can I stack two switches together.
As Mr. Seb Rupik said. We can stack all Cisco 3850 devices supported stackwise-480
