Nexus 9000 sub interface second dot1q

Hi All,

Is it possible to use encapsulation dot1q and second dot1q on a nexus 93180-yc? I am terminating 4 service provider WAN links on 2 93180, 2 per unit. the Service provider is using double tagging for some of the vrfs. I can't see the second dot1q option under the subinterface commands. Is there any option with introducing another device to strip the first tag?

This is a temporary measure whilst we get ASR shipped.

Hi @Brian McPhillips

Are you referring at Q-in-Q? This is not supported on subinterfaces.

Alternatives are:

1. you can configure Q-in-Q on a normal switchport: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus9000/sw/93x/interfaces/configuration/guide/b-cisco-nexus-9000-nx-os-interfaces-configuration-guide-93x/b-cisco-nexus-9000-nx-os-interfaces-configuration-guide-93x_chapter_01010.html

2. use a physical loopback on the Nexus to strip the first dot1q tag. Something like this:
