Hi, @MrBeginner

FTD by default not support telnet as per below guide. and as mentioned earlier , RIP is not working until you specifically enable it.

Hello @MrBeginner ,

I have a pair of FP1140 in HA using FDM

the GUI has no option to configure RIP that you can configure using FlexConfig   ( access to ASA CLI) I'm in 6.6.4

So RIP should be disabled.

telnet connection should not be supported as noted

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Hi,

use below document to configure/change relevant services.

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/fxos/fxos231/web-guide/b_GUI_FXOS_ConfigGuide_231/platform_settings.html#task_14A3611502A44A338EF0CCF15F3FBB58

RIP is disabled unless you configure RIP parameters.

Until you specifically enable RIP, its not enable by default.

You can check RIP Enabled or disabled here :

telnet

FTD does not support Telnet connections. Use SSH instead of Telnet to access the device CLI.

you can configure as below :
