Collector not seen in portal

Hi

I have deployed our collector and have discovered devices and uploaded successfully to Cisco, but no information is seen on the portal.

 

Please can someone help?

Hi Ben,

I have a few questions for you to make sure we get the collector up and running for you:

- What collector version are you using?

- When did you do the upload?

- What is your inventory name?

- What method did you use for the discovery?

- Please confirm if you ran a discovery, collection, and upload

Yes can now see the data. Thank you so much for sorting this.

I would like to ask some additional info -

 

  • Is there a way for the collector to identify our Cisco LWAPs?
  • What is Cisco's recommendation for subnet scanning?  Can we do 10.0.0.0/8?

Your LWAPs will be collected from your WLCs, they cannot be managed by the CSPC on their own.
We do not recommend running a /8 discovery scan, please attempt to break it up into small /12 or /16 ranges.
