Hi all,
I've some doubts and I want to be sure before operate.
My stack is composed of 3 switch (Chain - L3 - Native Stacking - auto unit id)
2x SG500-28-K9 V02 - FW 1.4.11.5
1x SG500-52-K9 V02 - FW 1.4.11.5
I want to insert a new member (SG500-28-K9 V02 - FW 1.4.11.5) in the middle of this chain.
Questions are:
- Do I need to configure new switch (with L3 - Native Stacking settings - stack port assignment - unit id) before adding to the chain or should it be at factory default state?
- Does the stack reset and reconfigure itself as soon as I open the chain or do I need to make manual configurations for adding new member in stack?
- Does original configuration will be lost adding new member in stack?
Thanks for you help
Best regards
AV
