2960X Switch Web GUI text and character issues

We have several Cisco 2960X switches of varying models all with the same GUI problem.  At the top of the GUI on the status bar, the information doesn't render correctly and instead displays variables and characters.  This is happening to all of the 2960X switches we have.  It isn't affecting switching, but is rather annoying and is something we would like to see fixed.  Does anyone have a fix for this?  We tried updating the firmware and rebooting the switches but to no avail.  Low priority, but if anyone has a fix or suggestion we would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you much!

Is this an issue with only one type of browser or all? Is Java software up-to-date on the device accessing the switches?

I tried both Firefox and Chrome and both displayed the same issue.  We don't have Java at all on our campus machine anymore.  Do the web interfaces in Cisco switches require Java to operate?

It is a browser issue. 

Use a very old browser version and everything should be fine.

When I try to get to that directory it claims there isn't one:
