Connecting cisco 2960g to Cisco C9300L via sfp ports

Switches: 2960G & C9300L
Use: Carrying audio

Tried connecting a cisco 2960g to a Cisco C9300L via SFP ports. The 9300L kills the audio within 3 seconds for the two studios that are on that switch when I plug the SFP adapter into it. I know the 2960g of course is old and I am using a SFP adapter(it's old too) from redwave for the SFP port on the 9300. We ran some basic commands to prepare the 2960 such as: no flood, igmp snooping and QOS. But maybe it's just as simple as the SFP adapter...though the logs didn't show anything abnormal for the SFP plug in. As you'll see the interface came up and went down rather quickly. That was me unplugging it when the audio went down in the 2 studios already piping audio through the 9300 switch:

@mrogers2024 hello, as per the logs, there is no errors. can you share the exact switch model (use #sh version command) and the model of SFP. also logs in both switches at connecting time

Please rate this and mark as solution/answer, if this resolved your issue
Good luck

What firmware is the 9200L on?

show errdisable <<- I think the SW reject the sfp of other vendor if that case you need command

SW(config)#no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid

MHM:

There is absolutely nothing in the logs I posted above that shows the SFP adapter was rejected. Secondary proof that it was not is the fact that audio stopped flowing through the switch.
