I am trying to connect an HP Nible SAN with a 4x10GB Ethernet Optical port to a Cisco 9500 C switch using a QSFP to SFP+ converter and using a 10 Meter 10Gb OM3 Multimode Duplex Fiber Optic Cable (50/125) - LC to LC. The ports are showing that the hardware is present, but the port keep going up and down. Anyone have any suggestions?

@gavinr98 hi, check console logs in switch if any and post here. also, try using different cable for testing. use #sh interface x/x/x to identify if port is error disabled. and check duplex and speed settings both sides.

I have 2 connections going from each controller and they are doing the same thing. IOS version is Cisco IOS XE Software, Version 17.06.04, switch is Cisco 9500 32c. Here is the sh int output.
HundredGigE1/0/1 is up, line protocol is down (notconnect)
Hardware is Hundred Gigabit Ethernet, address is 9c54.1650.1fc1 (bia 9c54.1650.1fc1)
MTU 9216 bytes, BW 10000000 Kbit/sec, DLY 10 usec,
reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
Keepalive set (10 sec)
Full-duplex, 10Gb/s, link type is auto, media type is CVR QSFP SFP10G(SFP-10GBase-SR)
input flow-control is on, output flow-control is off
ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
Last input never, output 00:00:00, output hang never
Last clearing of "show interface" counters 3d20h
Input queue: 0/2000/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0
Queueing strategy: fifo
Output queue: 0/40 (size/max)
5 minute input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec
5 minute output rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec
0 packets input, 0 bytes, 0 no buffer
Received 0 broadcasts (0 multicasts)
0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles
0 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 0 overrun, 0 ignored
0 watchdog, 0 multicast, 0 pause input
0 input packets with dribble condition detected
131306 packets output, 8403584 bytes, 0 underruns

I have tried different mtu speed and that has not helped either. I do not see any errors in the logs and I checked the compatibility matrix and the modules and cables are supported.
QSFP SFP10G(SFP-10GBase-SR)
Model is the 9500 32-C

And check compatibility at https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/ where all the info @balaji.bandi asked is relevant.
And also refer to release notes for IOS version you're using.
