Does anyone have any info on how to configure dynamic-pinning, instead of static pinning on a Nexus 2224 connected to a 7009?

Can't seem to find anything on CCO!

Cheers

Colin

Default configuration will do that. You don't have to configure anything.

I don't think you can change that.  The only option I see under for example fex 101 is Fex max-link. And "sh fex det" show that the pinning is static

Was just reading that this is an option, in place of static pinning.

Reason is that if an uplink fails, the ports still have connectivity.

maybe a new feature then?

Maybe, but I am running 6.1.1 and I don't see it.  Did the doc say what version of code should have it?

Its mentioned in the Designing Cisco Network Architectures (ARCH) book by John Tiso!

Do you mean if a uplink failed, you want all traffic to moved the another fabric interface?

yes, that would be the reason

Default configuration will do that. You don't have to configure anything.

is that using the command "pinning max-links 1" ?

That is correct.
