Hi, recently I've connected UPS APC to our network and seem Cisco Catalyst 9300-48P port where it is connected goes down and then up every 10 minutes. When I start pinging the end device (APC UPS) indefenetrly from my laptop, "flapping" stops, it does seem like when there is no network activity UPS(or switchport) resets every 10 minutes. I've checked port config, there is no power saving etc. To tesk, i enabled LLDP on the port, to make it send LLDP packets, but nothing change in regard top down/up situation, anyone has suggestions?
P.S.
end device (UPS) firmware updated.

It seems there is some discussion around watchdog causing the reboot every 10 minutes, which perfect fit to your scenario.
If you are able to, Id get the vendor onboard but if you can not, you can try do by yourself. Here is the link.

Hi
Can you share the exact UPS model? I´d say that this is a UPS behavior as for the switch it does not cut connectiviry due port inactivity.

That sounds like the NIC of the UPS is crashing.
