Hi everyone, forgive the stupid question, but I'm at the beginning. I have already been told by some of you that cisco packet tracer does not support all commands and I was recommended VIRL which supports almost all if not all commands. But I noticed that the "tacacs-server" command on the 2960 switch is not recognized to me while on a 3560 multilayer switch it is. So I ask you the fact that on the 3560 there is and on the 2960 the command is not there depends on the type of device or is it an internal management of the cisco packet tracer program?

I think that you have identified another of the odd limitations of packet tracer.

Depending on the platform and depending on the version of code there could be some differences in the syntax of the commands.
