Hi,

Yes you can use the 40Gbps QSFP+ ports to form the vPC peer link on the Cisco Nexus 9K.

"You can create a vPC peer link by configuring a port channel on one Cisco Nexus 9000 Series chassis by using two or more 10-Gigabit Ethernet ports or 40-Gigabit Ethernet ports"

Hi Carlos,

You configure a Virtual Port-Channel interface using individual interfaces, just like any other port-channel.  So, yes, you can use the 40G interfaces to create a VPC port channel.  You can also use it for anything else you want, like the peer-link or keep-alive.

There are no restrictions on usage and you can leverage based on your requirement.

Hope it Helps..
