what would cause "Total output drops"

Hi Guys,

what would cause "Total output drops"? we have been seeing calls drops on ip phones. most likely because of this.

Bad cable

Oversubscription on the port or module

Speed/Duplex mistmatch.

among other things.

100 Mbps link and you've got output drops?  What kind of phone is this?

a PC is connected to the phone. i.e.

PC --> IP Phone ---> (Gi1/0/7) Switch.

any thoughts?

Ummmm ... Just for tricks-and-giggles, can you configure the port to auto-negotiate to 10 Mbps.

Remove QoS configuration, and ceck again.
