which switch models support dual power supply.That means another should be redundant and should be up when one fails.we want them for data centres

Hi Friend
As Amit has already said, all modular switches like the 4500 & the 6500 have dual power supplies.
THe 4948 is a new fixed configuration switch with redundant power supplies.
you can also consider using cisco RPS 675 high availabilty redundant power supply which is compatible with most of the switches like 2960, 2560 & 3750
