This document describes the details about the Cisco Collaboration Endpoint software upgrade error “File too large”, and guides through the possible workarounds to upgrade the endpoint to the desired version.
For endpoints running version CE9.7 or earlier versions, attempting to upgrade to CE9.13 or later, the error “File too large” is observed as demonstrated in the screenshot below:
The cause of this error is due to the software file size exceeding the 1GB limit. It is important to note that this is expected when attempting to upgrade via the web interface.
There are 2 ways to work around this issue, see below:
To address the issue by upgrading via CUCM or TMS, please refer to the following videos:
Upgrade to ce9.8.2 or CE9.9.2. You may need to open a TAC case if the proper upgrade file is not available. Please note. This procedure includes deferred version of software, thus please be sure to upgrade to an officially supported software version, once done with CE9.9.2/CE9.8.2.
Follow the normal upgrade procedure from ce9.8.2 or CE9.9.2 to the desired version, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version. Please refer to the Endpoint GUI Upgrade Video
Open a TAC Case to request access to CE9.9.2 or CE9.8.2 - Support Case Manager

Great p oh at @Elias Sevilla Duarte it would be even better if you would create this as a document instead of a post. This would make it easier to reference.
