Has anyone experienced one way video when in calls with PLCM Viewstations?
With 7.1, these old systems worked fine.
Scenario
MXP registered to VCS Express 7.2
Viewstation unregistered on public ip address
MXP Calls viewstation and call comes up, but no video/audio comes back to the MXP.
I thought that since the RTP ports changed in 7.2 it might be a firewall issue (ie. port negotiated above 52399), but the firewall is allowing up to 54999.
Thanks.

HI John. I moved my Viewstation 512 that I've been using to test this to OFF on the GK page. Added an entry for it to dial IP address plus the extension that I'm looking for which was my MXP on F9.1. When I placed the call, i see the MXP has video off with no receive of anything. When I look at the status of the Viewstation, or look at it from the actual system, it just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing. It never truely connects. The MXP is sending, but the Viewstation seems to never complete the connection. Is this what your seeing?
When I move the same two endpoints to the X7.2.1 which we have this fix in, the call actually connects now with Audio and Video confirmed in both directions.
So it seems that even if the system is not registered, the VS still fails even though the receiving endpoint seems to be connected, and gets audio only.
Hope this helps.

Hi John, although actual experience a bit different due to device model, software version as well as calling far end device type/software version, root cause is still same that VCS forwarded all capability items table without stripping it like X7.1 did.
We have managed to reproduce this issue in internal lab and also verified the fix using same setup.

Tomonori,
Yes I understand and agree. I just thought it might be helpful that the description include one-way video in case someone was searching for an answer. However, this thread might be enough.
Thank you for all your help.
