Hi,
we have NFR version of CUCM 9 which has 20 x CUWL Pro License. I trying to find, but don't know how to associate phone to user to see that changes in Enterprise License Manager.
I have end users, phones are in controlled devices but no change, restart of all didn't help.
Could somebody give me advice how to associate phones in licenses meaning? I know that 1 CUWL Pro has Multiple (up to 10?) devices for 1 user. I think that with 20 CUWL Pro i Should be able to connect 200 phones (20 licenses x 10 devices/user) ?
Thanks

You need to assign the user as Owner ID under the phones, if a user is assigned to 2 devices then UCL Enhanced Plus will be used, if assigned to 2-10 devices CUWL standard will be used, you can borrow down from CUWL pro as that uses the same algorithm. CUWL Pro really only gives you WebEx these days and nothing more on CUCM side.

great thanks a lot... but I found a problem. I found that extension mobility is not supported with Owner ID. How can I assign license when extension mobility is enabled?

As of version 9.1.1a extension mobility is not counted against the licenses.

9.1.1 and 9.1.1a are different, the fix is only in 9.1.1a.

Chris, out of curiousity, is there another way to force Enhanced Plus users to become CUWL standard without adding 3rd device? Just for clean up purposes.

Not to my knowledge.

Chris,
What do you do when you try to make the change on the phone and it will not permit due to licensing issue?

You get more licenses, once you exceed licenses you will not be able to make additions/changes until you are back under compliance. No way around it.

The reason your CUWL standard licenses are being used is because those are for version 10.X and your CUWL Pro are for version 11.X as it appears you are running CUCM 10.X and not 11.X. You will either need to upgrade your CUCM to version 11.X or contact cisco licensing for downgrade of our license (may need to fight hard for that).

Your PLM seems to think it's 10.x, can you post a screen shot of the CUCM instance in PLM? Can you re-sync it and/or re-add it to PLM?
