DTMF is not working from IP Phone

Hi,

We have CUCM cluster of 5 servers and 2 Cisco 3945 routers with SIP Link for calls. This is a new deployment. When we try outbound calls from the IP Phone registered to the cluster DTMF is not recognizing.the call gets connected but not DTMF.

We have software MTP'''s assigned to MRG and MRGL. In the CUCM GW configuration page, MRGL is selected and MTP checkbox is enabled.a

Anything im missing or doing wrong.. please advise.

Have you tried without MTP? You should not need it for every call, if you do then your deployment is very handicapped as all calls need to traverse the MTP. 

Is DTMF not working for PSTN outbound calls only? How about internal i.e. voicemail?

What protocol are you using to control the GW, SIP/H323/MGCP?

Yes. DTMF is nto working for PSTN Outbound calls only. between CUCM and GW it is H323 and from GW to PSTN it is SIP..
