UCCX - Application without triggering event?

I'd like to setup some automated tests based on time increments or set times. Is there a way to do this without an outside stimulus? I guess i could setup an http request from another monitoring system - worst case.

Not to my knowledge. You can schedule reports, but I am not aware how to schedule anything else. If you want it at specific times, I think you should plan on doing that through an HTTP trigger.

You need to have something trigger the application, it can be either a call or a http request. CCX cannot invoke a application/script on its own.
