I had to integrate a standalone Cisco C240 M4S server into UCS this morning. It does iSCSI boot from a Netapp LUN which works fine but I noticed it wasn't saving config changes after a reboot. I realized after some troubleshooting that I had hit a bug where the /bootbank dir mounts to /tmp. https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/51907
I have tried all the suggested actions in the KB above and its not still not mounting the bootbank director correctly. Anyone experienced this before? I have opened a ticket with vmware support but not sure how helpful they will be. Am I just better off reinstalling vmware.

Greetings.
Please make sure you are not using the first NIC for iSCSI boot (which will be reserved for the VMK0/mgmt), and confirm that the 2nd (or what ever vnic you are using) is actually bound to the iSCSI VMK with the same IP (from ucsm iscsi config).
Thanks,
Kirk...
