When does a UCS Blade server recognise installed disks?

I have a Cisco UCS B200 M4 blade in a Cisco UCS 5108 AC2 Chassis connected to 2x FIs.
The server was used with ISCSI boot and for some reason a decision was made to use local boot for all our servers, so this blade was decommissioned for later use.
I've installed a new Cisco FlexStorage 12G SAS RAID Controller with 2x 200GB SSD disks, however in UCSM, I can only see the RAID controller- no disks. I rebooted the server and configured the disks as a virtual disk Mirror1 of 200GB in size and rebooted and re-checked the virtual disk was still configured, which it was.
In UCSM, I performed a re-acknowledge to see if I can see the new virtual disk, however it nor the individual disks are showing.
What do I have to do to get the virtual RAID01 disk to show in UCSM?

I think I may have answered my own question: I have to apply a service profile with a local disk configuration policy and then the 2 disks and the virtual volume will show in UCSM.
