Looking for advice troubleshooting voicemail messages truncating.
Version info:
UC500 Software (UC500-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 15.1(2)T2
CME version 8.1
Cisco Unity Express version (8.0.3)
Symptoms:
Only happens with external calls.
No indication to caller from CUE that message has stopped recording.
Seems to be consistently truncated at 30 seconds.
Mailboxes have been deleted and reconfigured.
Debug SIP messages and ccapi show call disconnecting correctly when caller is finished leaving message.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Update software and try again.

I have a similar issue, and a case opened with the STAC.
Any outside call is disconnected 15 seconds after beginning to leave a voice mail message.
I am stumped.

Hi,
Do you have "no vad" under the dial-peer for the voicemail? If not please add it.
What is the version of the CUE?
Best regards,
Alex

Hello Brad,
Do you have the same issue when leaving voicemail from internal extensions?
Have you tried reloading the CUE?
Best regards,
Alex

I do not experience the problem when leaving a v/m from an internal extension. I have tried reloading the CUE, but I have not tried updating the software.

Issue resolved. UDP traffic inspection was exceeding default timeout.
WAN interface is inspecting traffic:
interface FastEthernet0/0
ip inspect SDM_LOW out
Changed inpection profile for UDP from:
ip inspect name SDM_LOW udp router-traffic
Added timeout value:
ip inspect name SDM_LOW udp router-traffic timeout 300
