Aironet 1142 problems

Dear all,

i have 14 aironet 1142 work as atounomous

but i found this events in syslog said that and i dunno if this is a big problem:

ios crypto fips self test passed

&

int g0/1 , change state to up

&

int dot radio 0 , change sate to up

but i don't undersatnd how it can change state to up without being an event for being down ?

and sometimes i found that the interface dot radio is down , so why the dot radio interfaces goes down ?

Not sure I understand .. Both of those tell us these are up. What seems to the problem ?

these events are detected and i need to understand it, that's it.

but sometimes on some access point i found that the interface dot radio is down and dunno what is this happening

Can you please post the output to the command "sh version". Please post the COMPLETE output as I want to see multiple items.

That's an old IOS. Try upgrading the IOS.

Can you also post the "sh logs"? I want to see the events before and after the radios go down/up.

i don't have the logs before and after but i m monitoing it now , when it will be down i will post the logs.

from where i can get the new IOS version ? do i have to contact cisco or buy it or what ?

You need to have a valid Cisco Service Contract to be able to download firmwares.
