Mobility Express - Can it manage APs from different networks?

Hello, everyone.

Im currently planning 3 networks, 2 being where the users reside and can connect to via an access point which has Lightweight AP installed. The third network is a management network, where the AP with mobility express is at.

what I’m wondering is if I can manage those 2 access points while the ME is in another network(assuming there are valid routes back and forth to/from each network)?

As long as the AP able to reach the controller that should be working.

@juandcc2014 ME is intended to be used for a single, flat network with all devices on the same LAN/VLAN but yes it will work that way too.

You say "assuming there are valid routes back and forth to/from each network" so you have that covered - just remember you'll also need to provide WLC discovery for the APs - recommend DHCP with option 43.

Is there a way to assign WLC discovery statically? As in, provide the IP or information necessary to the lightweight AP without a DHCP server?

Yes https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/access_point/wave2-ap/command-reference/8-8/b-cisco-wave2-ap-cr-88/capwap_commands.html

But keep in mind AP may fall back to using DHCP as a recovery mechanism if it can't find a WLC with static config.
