Update of Cisco EWC 2504 and info about compatibility

RFC_2549
Level 1
Level 1

Hello,

we have an EWC 2504 with firmware version 8.1.102.0 and we need to update it to the 8.5.182.0 one, can someone please confirm me that we can direclty update it to the 8.5.182.0 version? Also I have a question about the compatibility matrix page, if I see a writing like the following, "1700" means that the compatibility is with also 1700i? Or it needs to be explicitly writed "1700i"?

"Lightweight APs: 1600, 1700, 1800i, 1810 OEAP, 1810W, 1815i, 1815m, 1815t, 1815w, 1830, 1850, 2600, 2700, 2800, 3500e, 3500i, 3500p, 3600e, 3600i, 3600p, 3702e, 3702i, 3702p, 3800, 700, 700W, AP802, AP803"

Thank You

as per release notes :

If you are using Release 8.2.x, we recommend that you upgrade to Release 8.3.x and then upgrade to Release 8.5.x.

Yes 1700 means 1700i, 1702i etc.
Note that 2504 is WLC not EWC
