hi every one I have wlc 2500 wireless controller with software version 7.0.220.0 and expired certificate which prevent ap from joining the controller can any one help?

I tried this command in wlc but it didn't work

config ap lifetime-check {mic|ssc} enable
config ap cert-expiry-ignore {mic|ssc} enable

you better upgrade WLC OS to newer version. also check the time and timezone correctly configured for WLC.

this is the latest recommend release to download

https://software.cisco.com/download/home/283848165/type/280926587/release/8.5.171.0

1. you need to list all AP models you are planning to connect to WLC and check compatibility for select correct OS version

2. Check upgrade path of cisco WLC for selected OS and download OSs as ned. you need valid cisco contract to download OS

3. This link gives upgrade stages

4. i guess you may need to upgrade FUS and then OS - https://community.cisco.com/t5/wireless/upgrade-wlc-2504-7-2-to-8-2/td-p/4319012

i agree with you but how can i fount it i don't know how to download from cisco any help about this issue

Hi

You need to inform which AP you are trying to join. Better, chech the Wireless compatibility matrix and chech if that wlc support the AP.
