CUCM 11.5 - DID Reporting

Hi,

 

We are trying to get a report for our DID range that are in use in the phone system. Can anyone provide any guidance on how to obtain this information? Is the CAR/CDR tool able to get this information? If so, please provide the documentation for generating this report. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

CUCM has no way to provide that, that is an abstract concept that CUCM has no idea of.

Everything in CUCM is either a DN or a pattern, and that's all CUCM knows.

 

All you can do is export of your DNs, and then start comparing to whatever is your DID range to find out which ones are already in use and which ones are free.

Another way to extract your existing DNs out of CUCM would be to use the Route Plan Report:

Call Routing > Route Plan Report, then select "Directory Number" from the list of searchable items and click Find.

In the upper-right there is a "Related Links" item that lets you "View In File". This will cause your system to download a CSV file containing the information in your report. You may find this more concise than using BAT Export.
