Hi all,
In my environment, the UCCE-CVP is centralized in Country A while I have several remote offices with just VG (call terminated locally) & agents. Because of the high utilization of the WAN, there's a delay is getting/playing the prompts to the caller especially for newly updated/uploaded files in Country A.
Is there a way to upload the new prompts directly to the VXML GW in advanced (during offpeak hour) rather than the conventional method of on demand (peak hour)? Any other method to reduce/minimize the delay in playing the prompts to the caller?
Thanks!

have you enabled caching on you VXML gateway?
when caching is enabled gateway only request the files from media server when caching time expires and file becomes outdated in gateway cache.

you can manually pull files in cache using below command.
audio-prompt load http://1.1.1.1/en-us/audio.wav

Chintan is correct. If you enable caching on your VXML and also specify the size of caching you require this would help eliminate your problem. In addition to that, if you frequently change the audio files, you can add an http timer method that the VXML goes to fetch the new wave file every specific time the call goes in which is based on the timer you set on the http cache.
