Embedded Salesforce.com gadget is available in the 10.0.1 gadgets directory here
https://developer.cisco.com/site/collaboration/contact-center/finesse/documentation/
The gadget requires a valid Salesforce.com login url to which the user and password are appended.
Salesforce.com blocks using an iframe unless the user and password are supplied such as
https://login.salesforce.com/?ec=302&startURL=%2Fhome%2Fhome.jsp&un=myuser@gmail.com&pw=mypass
Also, you need to disable clickJack protection to allow Salesforce to work in an iframe. You may have to contact Salesforce
support to have clickJack disabled.

You get that error if the userid and password are incorrect. Salesforce does not allow to be run in an iframe unless the username and password are supplied on the URL.

I continued to have issues with my SFDC loading in this iframe gadget after the SFDC Spring '14 update rollout. SFDC enabled clickjack protection on setup and non-setup pages by default when they applied this update (for security reasons - iframes are not secure), and for some organizations you will have to contact SalesForce support to have them disable it for you. If you have this problem, you can verify this by checking your Clickjack Protection settings: log in to your SFDC account in a normal browser window/tab (not an iframe) and go to Setup > Administration Setup > Security Controls > Session Settings.

Lender/Condry,
Even if give correct username and password, the salesforce page is not opening in an iframe. On successful authentication, internally login url getting redirects to home page url and throws an error saying,
"Load denied by X-Frame-Options: https://ap1.salesforce.com/home/home.jsp does not permit cross-origin framing." on my console.
Please help on this, Thanks,

That is a Salesforce issue, where salesforce does not allow running in an iframe. Check with Salesforce regarding the url you are attempting to use for login. I encountered the iframe issue recently and had to contact Salesforce to disable the clickJack protection.

It's no longer supported. You will need to use a workflow to pop Salesforce into a new browser tab.

Hi,
I don't have documentation that specifically says how to create a sfdc screen pop, but here is documentation on how to create a workflow browser pop where you would put the salesforce URL: Cisco Finesse Administration Guide Release 11.0(1) - Manage Workflows [Cisco Finesse] - Cisco. Then, take a look at the manage team resources section to see how to assign the workflow: Cisco Finesse Administration Guide Release 11.0(1) - Manage Team Resources [Cisco Finesse] - Cisco
Thanx,
Denise
