Hello Cisco Community,
we want to redirect some incoming call to external PSTN number (for example if choose option 2 i will be redirected to external pstn number) . I know that we can implement this using transfer to vru and then 'label'. my question is after the call is connected to the external number, the cube ports (sip trunk) will be kept reserved for that call or not. i know that once the call i connected , cvp ports will no longer be reserved but i am not sure about cube ports.
Thank You

You may want to explore doing SIP refer transfers instead of standard transfers to see if that still consumes a port. Here's the link to it from the guide.

I don't understand what you mean by "reserve a port" in regards to a call.
But if an incoming call is redirected back to PSTN via CUBE, then there will be 2 active calls in total on the CUBE (1 for the incoming and 1 for the outgoing).
