Relationship between Finesse & Jabber Agents

Hello

I am working with finesse and jabber to develop a chat solution, kindly guide me with the following queries:

• Is there any relationship between finesse users/agents and jabber users/agents?
• Can finesse agents be used to log into jabber and vice versa?
• If not, than is there anyway to map a relationship between these two types of agents?

There is no relationship between the users of the two products.  they each require their own username/passwd configured in different places.
