Solved: Removing a license from UCCX 8.0

Hi,

Does anyone know how to delete a license from UCCX 8.0?

It does not have the same options in the CLI that CUCM offers (e.g. file delete license ?????.lic)

Hello James,

To remove a lic from UCCX you will need to open a TAC case so we can access the CET tool and delete the file.

Then it's a TAC case, so they can puppeteer CET for you, and manually remove the license files.

For what it's worth, UCCX has never had a proper facility to remove license files.

To save your time with TAC, you can download the CET tool to an XP machine using the below url

Login to Appadmin and type this in your browser

https://:8443/uccxinstalls/CetTool.exe

Put the UCCX DVD in your laptop drive and access file in this location

D:\installer\CetTool.

Run the below commands,

then send the output (in text format) of the last command when you open a TAC case.
