Hi Sanket,

You can register any 3rd party sip phone as long as it is RFC 3261 complaint:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/11_0_1/sysConfig/CUCM_BK_C733E983_00_cucm-system-configuration-guide/Configure___Third_Party_SIP_Phones.pdf

Thanks Rajan, but is there any list of 3rd party SIP phones which are supported with CUCM ?

I have already tested polycom softphone, Grandstream phone. Looking for any other phones model which will work well with CUCM.

Not really sure if such a list exists for the newer versions of CUCM , apparently there used to be a program called (CTDP) to enable 3rd party vendors to test and verify the interoperability of their end points with CallManager and CallManager Express during the callmanager 5.0 days, looks like it was scrapped later on for phones.

It would be better if you can select a non cisco model and check with them to see how well the device works with CUCM from a feature perspective.

Hi, how did you handle licensing? How many licenses did you consume for this integration?

1. 3sx-softphones

2. IPCelerate,

3. IP blue,

4. Grandstream

5. Revolabs

6. Tekvizion

7. Polycom softphone

you will find lack of customizability in terms of softbuttons and services is gonna be your biggest problem running any of these on cucm

Can any of these use extension mobility?

I don’t think so as that is a Cisco proprietary function.
