Could anyone tell me if this unit is supported on the Cisco SRP527W router/modem?
I can register with the SIP provider (info screen in router) but cannot get past "registering" on the phone itself.

(need to use wireless broadband, hence the 527 unit).

Cisco does not document or support their Enterprise phones for third party systems, and the matter is not discussed here. You can have better luck on forums like voip-info.org.

Hi Robet,

Have you upgrade the phone to SIP? By default, Cisco 79XX run SCCP. Did you try registering a SIP softphone?

Yes thanks Leo, also used a 525G and have same issue. Assumed as SRP527 is basically an above average gateway, not a CM, that SIP would be the default?
