I am facing an issue where pickup/group pickup doesnt work for external calls. But it works fine for internal calls.
External calls via SIP (using CUBE).
Ill appreciate if someone can help me please

Start mentioning product and version that you're using.
Also note, pickup is an poor way to answer calls. Better to use an hunt group.

Hey,
Thanks its CUCM 9.0.
I have hunt groups for call flow.
I have 1 pickup group configured for everyone and assigned it to the lines. So when I make an internal call I can press the pickup button and it works. But when an external call comes thr issue pops up

Hi Mohamed,
please let me know:
- External calls come through PRI or FXO.
- The caller hits a pilot or direct to the extension.
- What do you mean by "1 pickup group configured for everyone" ? You mean each line has a pickup Group?
- Is it PickUp or Group PickUp?
- What is happening? call drop? busy, fast busy ... etc

Hey Helmy,
It was resolved. It is SIP and I had multiple issues and Cisco tac added 2 commands to SIP.
voice service voip
sip
rel1xx disable
no update-callerid
