I have a Cisco 3945 Router with 3 PVDM III - 128 ( 3rd Generation) that will deliver DSPs Resources which I need to integrate into a Call Manager Version 4.2.3 for Transcoding, Conference and MTP Services. When I enter the sccp profile these are loaded properly, but the services are not being registered against the Call Manager.
I wold like to know if an additional configuration is required to get these resources registered against my Call Manager version 4 or if these PVDM III are not compatible with Call Manager 4.
Below you can find the configuration script I´ve done:

Have you configured a transcoder with the name "XCODECalle63" in the CUCM?

Hi there,
I do believe this is in fact a compatibility issue
Cisco 3925 and 3945
Onboard PVDM2 and PVDM3 DSPs
Conferencing and transcoding
15.0.1M
CUCM 6.1.5, 7.1.3 or 8.0
Onboard PVDM2 and PVDM3 DSPs
MTP and RFC 2833

Your configuration seems to be fine.
Can you do a shut and no shut on the profile &
no sccp and sccp .
After that can you reset it using the CUCM

Shutdown and Not Shutdown and I apply several times but resources are not recorded in the Call Manager.
Thank,

Have you configured a transcoder with the name "XCODECalle63" in the CUCM?

Sorry, this profile transcoder already configured on the Call Manager and this typed Transcoder: Cisco Media Termination Point Hardware.
I really need to know is if the Call Manager 4.2 supports DSP resources configured with PVDM III. And if so additional configuration should be placed.
Hopefully you can help me with this.

I do not think it is a compatibility issue between pvdm and cucm.
Can you try this in the CUCM page?
Transcoder Type: Cisco IOS Media Termination Point
Device Name : XCODECalle63

Thanks Rob,
Was actually not sure about the compatibility.

Rob,
Great work as usual. But why re people still stucked on the old CCM versions. We are on CCM 8.5! and some people are still running 4.X. Guys common lets move with the times
