Hi Pushkar,
Yes, that can be done. You can register the CallManagers with each other using Inter cluster Trunks. These ICTs would work similiar to a H323 Gateway. You can add them to each other and take it from there. Here is some more info on the same:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/8_6_1/ccmsys/a08trnk.html#wp1092058
Hope this helps,

No, all you need is an ICT on each cluster pointing to the other one and configure the call routing, thats it.

What is not working? Do you get a busy tone? Do you get your call cannot be completed as dialled? You need to check your CSS on the ICT..Ensure that it has access to the partitions of your phones etc...
Please give us a detailed explanation of the issue you are having with this

Hi,
Thanks for the help.
We are now able to communicate within two different versions of call manager.
Now we need to migrate all the IP phones from version 4.1 to 8.6.
Is it possible to migrate just ip phones to new call manager or we need to migrate entire database .
We are facing issues in upgrading the call manager and restoring database with the help od DMA.
So kindly let us know if there is any procedure for migrating just IP phones to new call manager ?

But we are able to ssh the ip phone is there is any default username and password for ssh ?
Thanks And Regards

You can either change the tftp address physically on the phone or change on the DHCP server that the phone gets its ip address from..Those are the two places you can change it from

Hi,
We have a IP phone registered to CCM 4.1 I changed the TFTP server address of phone to new TFTP ( CCM 8.6 )
Phone is not getting registered to new call manager.
So I manually added phone to new call manager reseted the IP phone but still its showing uregistered on new call manager.
Is it necessary to delete IP phone from old call manager ?
Both the call managers are in same subnet can it create the problem.?

After you add the new TFTP server, do you see the ip address of CUCM 8.6 in Call manager list ?
Also what do you see in the status messages on phone?
Is the phone still registered to old CUCM?
You can try to erase network and device config on phone.. it could be that the old config is still in cache of the phone..
