Anyone is able to run Nokia Intellisync 1.1 on Nokia Eseries and register the phone on CallManager?
11-28-2007 03:52 AM
I solved the issue: the SCCP phone on Cisco CallManager for 1.1 must be a 7970 and not 7960 as for 1.0.
11-28-2007 06:13 AM
According to the Nokia user guide/release notes, it mentions Callmanager should be configured as a S60 (plugin necessary for Callmanager) and for Callmanager express versions it should be configured as a 7970.

Could you give me the link where i can download the 1.1 release notes and CallManager plugin?
On Nokia site i can find only Intellisync 1.0 user guide and release notes.
Thanks,
Stefano

anyone ever got the E series working with just the SIP client?
11-30-2007 07:01 AM
Hi Arvind,
I had this confirmed by Cisco that this doesn't work, the only way to get the Nokia phones working was with the Client
I hope this helps

Nokia E65 and E61i works in SIP on CCM and CCME while E61 doesn't work.

Hi,
I can confirm The build in SIP client is working on the Nokia E60, E61 and E90 using CUCM 6. Possibly on other eseries devices as well but I have only tested these 3.
These are the settings needed on the Nokia device :
Profile name: CUCM6
Service Profile: IETF
Default Access point: *your wifi access point*
Public user name: sip:1000@172.16.10.105 <= (your extension@your server address)
Use compression: No
Registration: On demand or Always on
Use security: No
Proxy server
Proxy server address: sip:172.16.10.105 < = (host name CUCM SIP Realm CFG)
Realm: CUC6009941 < = (host name CUCM SIP Realm CFG)
User name: 1000 <= ( your extension, configured in SIP Realm user name)
Password: *your password* <= ( configured in SIP Realm pwd)
Allow loose routing: Yes
Transport Type: UDP
Port:5065
Registrar Server
Registrat serv. addr.: sip:172.16.10.105 < = (host name CUCM SIP Realm CFG)

End User Configuration:

System - Security Profile - Phone Security Profile
Third-party SIP Device (Advanced) - Standard SIP Non-Secure Profile
Third-party SIP Device (Standard) - Standard SIP Non-Secure Profile

Create a new SIP Profile "NOKIA E61 Standard SIP Profile" allowing you to change specific settings
System - Enterprise Parameters: change parameter " ccmsipline" to "CUC6009941" & auto registration from SCCP to SIP
Kind Regards,
Jeroen

thanks for the great info. However, you said version 6, we have version 5.1.2(b) currently and was under the impression that it would have worked with this as well.
Note*** Not seeing ccmsipline parameter under ent param.
thanks again

Hi Jeroen
I am configuring SIP Phone in NOKIA E90 with CCM 6.0. When I add a new Sip Profile, I encounter an error : "Profiles in same realm must have same user name" in NOKIA E90. I checked user name. Everything is OK. I can't save this profile.
Can you tell me the solution for this issue?
Thanks.

Hi,
When working with the build in sip client on the Nokia, it is always best to have only 1 profile defined.
So, try and delete all the existing ones you have and only add the one you will use for CCM 6

Hi,
I configured the Nokia CallConnect 1.37 SCCP client with CME 3.3. This worked fine, but when I configured the same DN in other IP Phone ( Shared Line) , I call the DN, but only ringing the Nokia or the IP Phone, but not both...
Someone have tested this?
Thanks,
Ivan Garrido
