Please Help! IP phones Unprovisioned, Can't Ping, Or Register

ericbell8
Level 1
Level 1

I don't have any more hair to pull out! I've been stuck trying to register these phones for the last month or so. I know I'm missing a small detail, it's always something small that's missed. Can someone please look over my configures and point me in the right direction. It will be well appreciated, thanks.

Thanks everyone for the input. I'm still working on the issue.

Did you checked the TFTP Server on the Phone settings?and Once your Phones are with static IP ensure that if the TFTP server (if not using DHCP) is correct on the Phone. Also the MAC: 000D.BDC0.265B is duplicated, that´s correct?

Please remember to rate helpful responses using the star bellow and identify helpful or correct answers

Please correct your option 150.

Now it's option 150 ip 192.168.3.22

From the rest of your config it looks as it should be option 150 ip 192.168.4.1

As previously noted you have the same MAC setup as both a SCCP and SIP CME phone. To which of these do you expect the phone to register?

For the SIP CME to work properly you should add bind statements under
voice service voip
sip
bind both .....

Also remember that every time you change anything in the SIP CME config you need to reissue the create profile command for the changes to be written to the cnf files on flash.

Please rate all useful posts.

Thanks. The SCCP is up and running. Now, the SIP phone is the issue. I'm not sure if the file that is in Bold should be the way it is or P0S3-08-8-00. I believe the problem starts here:

Do not use Cisco phones in SIP mode. Convert to SCCP firmware and everything will work fine.

Hi everybody, I am doing the CME initial config on 2901, along with 3560G switch, trying to registor a 7965 IP Phone,

The message displaying on the phone is unprovisioned , and while going to this state, it runs throgh Looking for

P00308010200.loads and it restarts and same procedure continues ....

When I do debug tftp events, I get the following messages,

TFTP: Looking for CTLSEPB4A4E329C55E.tlv

TFTP: Looking for ITLSEPB4A4E329C55E.tlv

TFTP: Looking for ITLFile.tlv

TFTP: Looking for SEPB4A4E329C55E.cnf.xml

TFTP: Looking for XMLDefault.cnf.xml

TFTP: Opened flash:/its/vrf1/XMLDefault.cnf.xml, fd 14, size 3272 for process 322

TFTP: Finished flash:/its/vrf1/XMLDefault.cnf.xml, time 00:00:00 for process 322

TFTP: Looking for flash:/P00308010200.loads

Could anyone help me with this?

I've seen the unprovisioned message with SIP phones that were in Call
Manager but had no DN configured on the phone.

The provisioning server may be specified as an IP address or as a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
The use of a FQDN facilitates the deployment of redundant provisioning servers. When the provisioning
server is identified through a FQDN, the Cisco IP phone attempts to resolve the FQDN to an IP address
through DNS. Only DNS A-records are supported for provisioning; DNS SRV address resolution is not
available for provisioning. The Cisco IP phone continues to process A-records until the first server
responds. If no server associated with the A-records responds, the Cisco IP phone logs an error to the
syslog server.

If the phone has network connectivity, the call manager just needs a DN set on the phone before it registers. If no DN is configured on the Phone through CUCM, phone will display "Unprovisioned"

Thank you.
