Can you ping cue from your pc? Do you have a static route for CUE ..?
If not add :
Ip route 192.168.200.2 255.255.255.255 ism0/0

In addition to the previous info i can do ping from my pc(192.168.1.1) to the ISM 0/0(192.168.200.1) and vice versa, but i can`t ping the service module(192.168.200.2) from my pc neither from the router itself.
thanks

Yes, the service-module ip address is pingable. But it won't ping if the interface of the service-module ip default-gateway isn't connected to a routing network, and instead connected to a pc in your case. For some reason it causes the packets to go to a routing black hole.

You are also using the wrong command.
You install .pkg files, not .prt1 file.
12-18-2012 09:56 PM
Hi Paolo,
I have downloaded the previous prt1 file and also a zip file (153 MB) which contain the following:
cue-installer.SPA.sme.8.6.1 (10MB)
cue-vm-full-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.prt1 (142MB)
cue-vm-installer-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.prt1 (140Kb)
cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.key (1KB)
cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.pkg (171KB)
cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.pkg.install.sre (38KB)
cue-vm-k9.SPA.sme.8.6.1.pkg.install.sre.header (1KB)
cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg (3MB)
which file i must install and what is its minimum size? Is my error issue relates to the type of the file???
thanks again for cooperating.

The pkg as mentioned before. You also need at least one language file.
12-19-2012 12:24 AM
Ok,
I tried to install the cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg (3MB) and the Language file cue-vm-en_US-langpack.sme.8.6.1.prt1 (30 MB),,,,,,,,, but still the same error:
%Error: Couldn't open ftp://*****:*****@192.168.1.1/CISCO/tftpserver/cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg
How i can solve this issue, I gave up.
thanks Paolo.

Check if FTP server gets any connection attempt.
If it doesn't, reconfigure CUE interface to be in same subnet as router.

Dear Paolo,
here what I did.
I check the conncection with ftp by copying a test file from my pc (Act as ftp server) to the router flash and it works successfuly, but to the ISM it doesn`t.
I change the configuration of the ism 0/0
interface ISM0/0
ip unnumbered GigabitEthernet0/2
service-module fail-open
service-module ip address 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0
service-module ip default-gateway 192.168.1.2
hold-queue 60 out
interface GigabitEthernet0/2
ip address 192.168.1.2 255.255.255.0
duplex auto
speed auto
hold-queue 60 out
ip route 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.255 ISM0/0
Still i can`t ping 192.168.1.10, is it a pingable or not??????????????
THEN
VoiceGW# service-module ism 0/0 install url ftp://admin:admin@192.168.1.1/E:/CISCO/tftpserver/cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg
Proceed with installation? [no]: yes
%Error: Couldn't open ftp://*****:*****@192.168.1.1/E:/CISCO/tftpserver/cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg.install.sre
Execution of script cue-vm-langpack.sme.8.6.1.pkg.install.sre failed, installation aborted
VoiceGW#
How this can be solved??????????????/
thanks again
