Hello Friends,
I have an issue with receiving multicast for a new connectivity. Its used to receive data feeds from for financial data providers for test/uat environment.
Background:
On Cisco router Mcast routing is already enabled; there are few connections already working here and can see mroutes for the working connections. PIM adjacency is built using GRE tunnels over IPSec VPN.
Issue:
I have set up a new tunnel to our partner network. IPSec & GRE tunnels (int tun 60) are working; enabled PIM-SM on GRE interface, added static route/mroute for the mcast sources and ip pim rp-address with ACL.
Now, when I add static route for the RP - it impacts the existing mroutes.
Symptoms/indications observed:
Upon adding the route for RP, the output of "sh ip mroute" for the all working mroutes displays RPF neighbor and RP as Tunnel60; and the existing connections fail.
I have verified that the new new connection RP doesn't correlate / conflict with any existing connections.
Thanks in advance for your help.
