Hello Experts,

is there is a special requirement for the USB drive which can be used to upgrade the IOS of the switches C9300-48P-E/C9300-48P-E  ?  in terms of capacity, formatting with FAT32 or NTFS etc.

please also provide the set of command which could be used.

Cisco says that 3rd party USB drives may or may not work. I have tried out many vendor USB and I would say almost 80% of them worked

The ones I tried FAT32

It requires special USB from Cisco to connect with front-panel or use for 3rd party hosting applications, However, the workaround is to format the USB  flash storage FAT32 to EXT4 in order to meet the internal requirements.

if it's still not recognizing the USB flash storage, please reboot the device and connect the USB with the hot-plug method.

if it's helpful please vote.

Thanks its works for me!
