hi i read all theory about config MSTP in multi region but can't understand how to config it
for example i don't understand what this sentence mean:
The spanning tree that runs between regions is the CIST !!! does it mean i should config between region Instance 0 for connectivity?
we have several switch in REGION 1 several switch in region 2 from each region : 1 switch connect to other region as i show in picture
and in each region we have some instance ( instance 1 -->vlan 10,20 & instance 2---->vlan 30,40) what is config of boundary port of R1(port:fa0/0 switch region 1 ) & R5 (port:fa0/1 switch region 2) should i type command:
spanning-tree mst 0 cost ...
spanning-tree mst 0 cost...
i should run another thing in each interface mode of boundary ports...?
