We have Nexus 3548s acting as PTP Boundary Clocks. We're trying to add Dante audio devices to the network but appears PTP version 1 packets are not being passed to devices.
Is it possible to forward PTPv1 packets, like for example on a 9K Nexus?
What would be the behaviour if PTP is turned off and the 3548s no longer act as boundary clocks would PTPv1 be dropped or passed transparently?
Thanks

Hello @array
The Cisco Nexus 3548 switches support the PTP, but it's important to note that the default PTP version on Nexus switches is version 2. PTPv2 is the recommended version for most scenarios due to its improvements over PTPv1. However, if your Dante audio devices specifically require PTPv1, you might encounter compatibility issues.
If PTP is completely disabled, PTP packets should not be passed transparently through the switch. The switch would essentially ignore PTP traffic.
