Microsft SCOM

Hi,

Anyone has any experience with Microsoft SCOM monitoring Cisco UCS?  I want to tfind out if all UCS alerts from chassis, fabric interconnect etc. can be forwarded to SCOM.

The built in UCS "Call Home" is really good and so far has been 100%. You can tune different alerts etc. So far there has been nothing needed other than that to keep a very good eye on the UCS. Also if you set it up (and pay Cisco) I believe it will actually start TAC cases.

There is a plugin for SCOM, but not sure if our SCOM team will ever get to it. For one thing they would have to understand the UCS and etc, etc.

Not to be a pessimist but use UCS "Call Home" and life will be beautiful.
