Do you have an example of things missing from last version? Interleaved traces do inted to reduce the amount of lines per event so... That might be the situation you are experiencing.
I tried latest 1.4.3. Once you download the TAR fil, Browse to it, then click Upload. The phone will start loading it, you will see it on its screen. Should come out of recovery mode afterward.
