I have configured hundreds of workflows, but this is the first on UCCX 8. I can configure the workflow but it does not function. Tree Node, Message, Audible, Report. The client works great otherwise, all services in-service. Is there something different on 8? Maybe a trip through the port utilization guide? The system is Premium licensed.

I think there might be a bug. We've had the exact same problem. I've got a TAC case open, and Cisco/Calabrio reviewed my configuration. For us it's intermittent. They work occasionally, then stop. I've been able to reproduce the failure, and Cisco has all the logs. We should know more soon.

Nope, nothing yet. The TAC engineer thinks it's a defect, but no confirmation from Calabrio yet.

It looks like we're suffereing from the same thing. Does anyone know if there's a fix for this? We're currently running 8.5(1)SU3, HA.
This has affected several CSD installations simultaneously and no combination of re-installs or client re-boots seems to fix it.

A temporary solution is to restart the following services:
Cisco Desktop Sync Service
Cisco Desktop Enterprise Service
Cisco Desktop Recording and Statistics Service.

Besides the workaround, does anyone have a solution for this.
Or maybe the bugid for this one?

is there any impact on restarting Cisco Desktop Enterprise Service on a middle of a day. just want to make sure.

Does anyone know if this got resolved? we have set up e-mail alerts and they do not work although the test e-mail works.

HI
There is no impact of restarting the service, you can restart it anytime you wish,
UCCX fails over if this service is restarted more than 3 time within 5 mins, which you will never be able to do manually ,
so you are good to go if you want to restart it.

Hi
There used to be a bug for Tree action not working in UCCX 8 , i am 200% sure on this.
and i have seen case where audible alerts dont work as well, there was a bug for it too,
i see that you havent mentioned the exact version of the UCCX ,
my recommedations will be to upgrade to UCCX 8.5.1 Su4 , hopefully that will fix the issue.
