Caltrans is requesting a feature for the CX Cloud portal. We would like to see if we can use the SNMP location string as the source for the physical location for our Cisco devices. Currently the physical location is tied to the shipped to address from the contract, not the actual install location.

I think it'd be a great feature/help to have the capability to add/import Software/Subscription only Contracts to CX Cloud directly (via 'Add Contacts' option from Admin Center). As of today, this feature is missing and the admins have to go through Cisco TAC to have it done.

It would be good with a feature where we can generate an automatic report with all data in CX cloud or parts of it. A summary version and a detailed version of the report would be good. For example, I can choose to create a report that contains a summary of the data under "Assets&Coverage" but detailed for the data under "Adoption Lifecycle " or "Advisories".
Importing CSV files is not sufficient. We would like for example to be able to generate a detailed report (Excel or PDF) for all Advisories with all details for all assets in one click.

We would like the ability to search or filter CX Cloud specifically by a transceiver module of an SFP. Today we cannot search or filter on transceiver details. Please see ticket SR 698793300 for additional information.

Credentials for devices are not always the same in our network. Certain devices cannot use TACACS and rely on local credentials which are different. Also not all devices support SNMP v3 in the same format so we have some with different auth or privacy algorithms or passwords. I would be better to have a credential library similar to how Catalyst Center or most other tools I have used which would check the various options in the order specified. This would be better than assuming all devices in a network are configured the same.

Hello Team,
In the Fault Catalog, some faults are related to some models of devices, while others are related to other models. It's difficult for the customer to check dozens of faults to find the one matching their device. It would be a lot to easier to have the option to search by product family.
This doesn't even have to be through a filter, but to simply type '9300' for example in the search box, like you would search a Webex chat, and display all faults that mention 9300 in their content/description text.
Thank you.

We've setup Cloud CX and noticed that there is a major issue which can cause a lot of confusion for customers working with this platform. If you have a device that is covered under a contract that is expiring, and renewed its coverage under a new contract number, Cloud CX will NOT show this. It will incorrectly show that the contract is expiring, raising false alerts, when it should in fact show that the device is expiring but its coverage is continue through a different contract. This is really disappointing as it created a false alarm within our organisation. Cisco should address this issue asap as device contracts and coverage cannot be properly tracked. I've added screenshots from Cloud CX which shows the product's coverage expiring today, but as you'll see in the second screenshot from CCW-R, the there is a new contract that starts the next day. This should be reflected in Cloud CX.

Currently, CX Cloud doesn't display some FRUs such as RAMs and Disks. Customers are keen to track these items as they tend to be RMA'ed. If we intend to build a single platform for Cisco devices. All FRUs should be supported and visible in the platform.

The F5 Networks team is interested in a new feature implementation in CX Cloud, where they would be able to pause the coverage on certain devices as they adding/configuring these devices to be leveraged within their network management strategy with our team here at Cisco. Would it be possible to implement this feature in a future iteration of CX Cloud, where the team could select a number of devices to pause coverage on or add a button into the 360 degree view of their assets that could accomplish this?

Advisories do not compare affected software versions of a security advisory with the ones used in the environment. A recent example is CVE-2024-6387, which just affects IOS XE 17.14, and is fixed in 17.15.1 Devices running IOS XE 17.9.x are flagged as potentially affected, but clearly cannot be affected at all. The platform (which we pay for) should reduce manual work, not just present the same things differently. The expectation is that the manual work to compare security advisories with the environment is no longer needed, especially for such basic things like software versions. This is the promise of the service, where it currently lacks real benefit. I even expect it to verify if I am using affected features in my environment based on the information DNAC/CCC has. I also would like to see that acknowledgements made in the CX portal are automatically reflected in the Security Advisories section of DNAC/CCC and vice versa. I was told in SR 697979885 that the current state is not a bug, but that everything works as designed, and asked to share my feedback in this portal.

Just wanted to share feedback regarding the CX Cloud Agent Telemetry Scheduled Collection. With 2000+ devices, we were seeing CX Cloud Agent Jobs getting stuck if we schedule the Telemetry collection every day. Upon checking, Cisco TAC has suggested to configure the scheduled collection to weekly as there is no other scheduled frequency option is available after daily. My suggestion is, if CX Cloud Agent cannot handle the daily collection with 2000 odd devices, then, if possible, kindly please consider opening the option for selecting the alternate days of thrice a week schedule collection option as waiting for updated inventory for a week is something not desired. 2nd feedback, please add a detail against the asset at what time last the telemetry was collected. Right now, there is no visibility on how old the data is on the CX Cloud page if CX Cloud Agent jobs get stuck and no new collections are happening. I have experience this with my environment installation. Thanks

I have several asset groups I use to manage my assets. Until recently, when looking at an asset, I could add a "asset tag" directly from the asset window and it would put that asset into any group I had already created. Now when I go to add an asset to a group, it takes me to the asset group page where I can't add anything. Please restore this functionality.

Hi CX Cloud Team, I'd like to suggest the possibility for Dynamic Asset Groups, which have the capability to add or remove devices based on certain conditions, e.g. device name, IP address range, etc. This would make it easier to group devices automatically without manually adding them to an Asset Group. At the moment Asset Groups are very static. Thank you Alexander Rauch

It looks like there is no way to show devices not assigned to any assed group. This would be useful when you want to have all devices assigned to a group and would want to see any new devices appearing in the inventory.

At CX Cloud > My Portfolio, the Customer is able to check a lot of good info related to their Contract:
It would be awesome if there was a Global tab with "Global Parameters", for example:
A Customer with Cisco ISE 2.7 P10 would have the possibility to click on the Global tab and check:
. How many Customer (in percentage) are using ISE 3.3 Patch 2 (the Suggested Release)
. The TOP 3 TAC Cases related do ISE 3.3
. The TOP 1 ISE version used Globally (for example ISE 3.2 Patch 5)
This way the Customer would have the possibility not only to compare "his Parameters" with "Global Parameters" (to better understand "his gaps" in comparison to the rest of the World), but also to better prepare for future upgrades via the TOP 3 TAC Cases related to the Suggested Release.
Any possibility to integrate such feature in roadmap ?

There is no notification either on the Catalyst Center or on mail if the CX Cloud Agent is unreachable or goes down. You can only come to know of this when you open your CX Cloud instance and check the "Data Sources". It will be helpful if a proactive notification can be sent to the admin/user if the CX Cloud Agent becomes unreachable or is not sending telemetry to CX Cloud.
